What is a CSA?

CSA stands for community supported agriculture and by joining you are becoming a member of the farm. Each week, over the course of the winter, not only will you receive a box of freshly harvested vegetables, you will get a chance to explore what it means to eat locally and sustainably. A CSA benefits you, not only with a more intimate knowledge of your food, but also with the ability to support your community and experience new foods and flavours. At the same time the CSA benefits us with a better relationship with our customers, and a stable income.

Helping the Community

Eating healthy is not just for those of us who can afford it. Because of this we donate 15% of everything we grow, at the same quality that is found in your basket, to Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold. This allows us (and you) to give back to the community by helping those in need.

Sharing the Risk and Reward

Although we will do our best to provide you with a wide variety of vegetables, farming and weather can be unpredictable, ESPECIALLY in winter. This can, on occasion, mean that the value of your box may be less than you paid for. However, we will always try to grow more for you than you paid and a bountiful harvest can bring great reward.

How Do I Get My Box?

At our farm Wednesdays from 4 to 5:30pm
Welland Farmers' Market Saturdays from 7am to 12pm
Home Delivery Thursday mornings (we will contact you with a schedule) CLICK FOR MAP

What Do We Grow in Winter

Lettuce and Greens
Spinach, Kale, Chard
